Oriental rugs can be beautiful things when laid out across the floor. But like most rugs and carpets sometimes they can get dirty and they need a clean. When you have done this you can then move your rug to a dry clean area and lay it out flat. This should be an area where it is ideal for water to run across it. When you have moved your rug into position you can then proceed to wetting it with cold water from a bucket or hose.
